Everyone is on high weather alert around here today with a strong possibility of severe storms. Of course, what this tells me is to grab the camera and head out onto the porch!! So far we have had strong rain but have escaped tornadoes, there have been some in the area. At one time we spent a few minutes in the bathroom waiting out the tornado warning; however, we were well equipped with 2 ipads, a laptop, and cell phone! Facetime on the iPad was a godsend so that we could stay in touch with Kristen on the other side of town!
The break in rain was a perfect time to get some pictures of our beautiful flowers! The tornado watch has been extended until 10 pm so there may be more opportunities for pictures later!

Spring is here and almost gone...we are headed right toward summer. All of the critters seem to love our front porch, we have a bright green frog hanging out above the door and a turtle dove has made a nest in one corner.  We think there are babies, but can't see in there to find out - that would be the ultimate in Easter eggs!

I've become one of those crazy people that pictures of everything they do. Last night we went to the Stars home opener camera in hand, of course we were overshadowed by the professionals with the honking large lenses, but size isn't everything! Here are a few of the best...

A short rainstorm just passed through leaving a beautiful double rainbow. The inside rainbow was extremely bright, pictures don't do it justice...but I tried anyway...

Its going to be another hot day, but right now it is sunny and gorgeous - the flowers are beautiful...

This morning we went for a hike offered through the Land Trust in Huntsville through the old railroad bed in Monte Sano. Weather was beautiful, as was the scenery...enjoy the pics...

I'm trying to set up something to have all of our pictures and videos in one easy-to-find place...we'll see how this goes.
